Participation Agreement
Classes with The Movement Teacher (online, in studio and on demand) are not a substitute for medical care and offers no health warranties or guarantees of any kind. The information we provide is not intended as a substitute for medical advice from your GP or health professional. If you have any doubts then please contact us and your medical practitioner before signing up.

The Movement Teacher cannot accept liability for personal injury related to participation in a session online, in person or on demand if:

Your doctor has advised you against exercise on medical grounds

You fail to observe instructions or safety techniques

Is caused by the negligence of another participant

You fail to disclose any new medical conditions or injuries at the start of the session. If during the class you experience pain or discomfort you must stop immediately and notify the teacher.

Please consult with a health professional before starting a new exercise programme and follow their safety recommendations. In particular, for post and pre-natal Pilates you must seek guidance from your midwife and / or your GP or medical practitioner to confirm that there is no medical reason why you should not be able to participate.
Your payment to The Movement Teacher is non-refundable and non-transferable, unless specifically stated by The Movement Teacher.

By signing up to The Movement Teacher courses and/or classes I confirm that I am clear to exercise and am voluntarily engaging in an acceptable level of exercise, and my participation involves a risk of injury. I will work at an appropriate level for myself and will stop immediately if I feel pain or discomfort.
I confirm that I have read, understood and voluntarily agree to the Participation Agreement.
